Over the last 18 years our School has in accordance with the requirements of the English National Curriculum delivered a first class education programme to students from all around the world. Currently students of more than 65 nationalities choose to study in our school.
We offer a truly International education for pupils of all ages from Pre Nursery to the International Baccalaureate Diploma. We are a recognised University of Cambridge examinations centre and offer a full range of International General Certificate in Secondary Education examinations. At age 16 all our students take the IGCSE examinations which is ideal preparation for those students who then choose to study for the IB Diploma.
The British International School has been an IB World School since 2002 and from this time we have an outstanding track record of achievement for pupils who have studied for the IB Diploma. In recent years the school has recorded a 100% pass rate giving our students direct access to leading world universities without having to sit an entrance examination. Tuition in our School is delivered by a team of highly qualified teaching professionals from the United Kingdom and other English speaking countries.The school is regularly inspected by Cambridge Education Limited - an organisation which is licensed to inspect schools in England as well as overseas.
Our Schools are located in two distinct districts of Moscow. Schools 1,2,7 and 8 are located in the Northern Administration District and Schools 3,4,5 and 9 in the South-West Administrative District. With the exception of school 5 all these schools offer a full international programme.
School 5 is our Russian sister school offering a first class education in an International environment. Students who attend this school enjoy an enriched learning experience. They have the opportunity to study several languages with a particularly strong English teaching programme while retaining the opportunity to study for the Russian General Certificates of Secondary Education.
All our Schools are extremely well resourced with computer suites, science labs, interactive white boards, music rooms and fully equipped sports and arts facilities. Our teachers have access to the most up to date teaching and learning materials currently available.
We take a great deal of pride in the achievements of our students which is clearly reflected in our record of academic achievement in all national and international examinations over many years.
